Buffalo man, 68, charged with DWI after bicyclist injured

A Buffalo man was arrested on drunk driving charges and for a traffic infraction after allegedly injuring a bicyclist in the 300 block of Military Road near Hertel Avenue Tuesday, according to Buffalo police.

Harold C. Robinson, 68, of Ontario Street, was charged by police with driving while intoxicated and failure to stay in a lane about 2 p.m., Buffalo police reported.

The cyclist, who had been heading south on the road when the northbound Robinson allegedly knocked him off his bike, was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment of what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.
