Falls man indicted in NT home invasion

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man has been indicted by a Niagara County grand jury in connection with a North Tonawanda home invasion Feb. 22.

Jarrell L. Sanders, 24, of Royal Avenue, pleaded not guilty Monday in County Court to three counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of third-degree criminal mischief.

Assistant District Attorney Kevin D. Canali said Sanders and another man, who has not been identified, entered the Oliver Street residence, armed with a handgun. The resident was pistol-whipped, a TV set was broken in the melee, and checks and shoes were stolen, Canali said.
