TOTH, William "Bill"

TOTH - William "Bill" Of North Tonawanda, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2016 in his 94th year at DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Olcsva, Hungary, he was predeceased by his parents, Bertalan (Bert) and Rosa Toth; his brother, Charlie (Gloria); his sisters, Rosie Twerdohlib (Peter), Perry Cote (Roy) and his loving companion, Helen Walker of Port Colborne, Ontario. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bill served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II as an air gunner "special group". After the war, he became a United States citizen. After retiring from the Honeywell and Halliburton Corporations, he worked part time at the Stardust Lounge and the Third Warders Social Club in North Tonawanda. A kind and gentle man who was proud of his Hungarian heritage, will be missed by all that knew him. Special thanks to the staff at Tonawanda Manor and the DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility for their special care. Bill will be interred in Port Colborne, Ontario with his parents. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were under the direction of COLUCCI FUNERAL HOME, North Tonawanda.
