Niagara Falls man to make third trip to state prison

LOCKPORT – Ronnie H. Chandler of Cambria, who has been to state prison twice before, will return there for a third time.

Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon on Friday sentenced Chandler, 30, of Saunders Settlement Road, to two years in prison, plus two years of post-release supervision, for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: crack cocaine, which he was charged with selling in Niagara Falls in January and June 2015.

Still ahead for Chandler and his estranged wife Stefany Chandler, 25, is sentencing next month for misdemeanors in a gun possession case. An unregistered handgun was found in their vehicle when State Police pulled it over Aug. 19, 2015, on Caravelle Drive in the Falls.

Ronnie Chandler served more than two years in prison after a 2007 sexual abuse conviction, and 18 months for a 2011 drug possession conviction.
