A Niagara Falls man was charged with drunk driving and marijuana possession Friday, after he was stopped by State Police for speeding on the Interstate-190. Troopers stopped Kevin King, 31, after he was observed driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone, while also swerving back and forth on the I-190 in Niagara Falls. After he was stopped, troopers said they detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed that King displayed signs of intoxication. A breath test later revealed his blood alcohol level to be .14 percent. King also was found in possession of about 16 grams of marijuana.
King was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket to return to Niagara Falls City Court.
