LOCKPORT – Denise F. Messner of Niagara Falls was sentenced Thursday to two to four years in state prison for her role in a robbery at a 7-Eleven store in the Falls last year.
Messner, 35, a second-time felon, took part in the Feb. 8, 2015, holdup at the store on Buffalo Avenue. She pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. to third-degree robbery.
Her co-defendant, Shane M. Rossman, 37, of the Falls, previously was placed on five years’ probation. Police said he and Messner handed a note threatening the use of a gun, but didn’t display a weapon.
Messner served more than three years in state prison for an assault conviction in Queens in 2006, state prison records show.
