LOCKPORT – The City of Lockport development agency announced Tuesday that Sept. 15 is the deadline for its new round of microenterprise funding.
Deferred loans of up to $20,000 are available for businesses with five or fewer employees, the Greater Lockport Development Corp. announced.
Recipients would be required to invest their own money for at least 25 percent of the cost of their projects.
Equipment and inventory purchases, working capital and employee training costs are among the expenses that the loans could cover.
Interested applicants can request an application by emailing Brian M. Smith, the city’s planning and development director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
