The Color Run Tropicolor World Tour will combine a 5K with the fun leisure of an island-style vacation full of unforgettable memories, music, and colors. Portion of proceeds will benefit Shoes on Students, which provides shoes to local underprivileged athletes. Runners will be bathed in a tropical array of colors and island scents as they pass through the shade of palm trees, inflatable arches, and island-style music. Buffalo Paddle Festival: 9 a.m. to dusk, Woodlawn Beach State Park, 3580 Lakeshore Road, Hamburg. Includes several canoe, kayak, stand-up paddleboard races, as well as demonstrations from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., beach volleyball and more; proceeds benefit Kids Escaping Drugs and Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper.
