20-year-old surrenders in weekend shooting that left victim ‘critical’

A 20-year-old man who surrendered Monday to police was charged with assault and weapon’s possession in a weekend shooting, Buffalo police reported.

Devontae Watson is accused of shooting a 37-year-old man during an argument late Friday at Walden and Louis avenues, said homicide detectives.

The victim is listed in critical condition in Erie County Medical Center.
