Kellie F. Stanchak and David W. McBride were married at 2 p.m. on July 2 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church in South Buffalo, where the bride’s parents and grandparents also were married. Guests gathered for a reception at Templeton Landing. Monsignor William Gallagher of Buffalo heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Michael P. and Linda M. Stanchak of South Buffalo. The bridegroom’s parents are John and Leslie McBride of Wilbraham, Mass. The bride, a graduate of Nichols School, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western New England University and also earned a master’s degree in college student personnel administration from the University of Tennessee. The bride is an assistant director for graduate education in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Buffalo. The groom, a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and also earned a juris doctorate degree from Cornell University Law School. He is a compliance analyst at M&T Bank. After a trip to Seattle and Hawaii, the couple will make their home in Orchard Park.
