M&T Bank has promoted Joseph M. Rizzuto to administrative vice president. Rizzuto received a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Buffalo State.

Kalos Health has named Rhonda Rotterman director of clinical operations. Rotterman has a nursing degree from Niagara University She has worked in the health care field as an administrator and educator for more than 25 years.

Scott E. Friedman, chairman and CEO of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, has been appointed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to serve as a member of the Council for the State University of New York at Buffalo. Friedman received his juris doctor from Washington University School of Law and his master of laws from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. His term will run through June 30, 2022.

Dr. Matthew J. DiPaola has joined the medical staff at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center as an orthopedic surgeon affiliated with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Dr. An honors graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College, DiPaola served his internship and surgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Philadelphia. He completed his fellowship in reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery at the University Hospital for Joint Diseases.

Patricia M. Pirri has joined Phillips Lytle LLP as an associate. She will be based in the firm’s Buffalo office. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia and her juris doctor from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.

Matthew R. Mazgaj has joined Phillips Lytle LLP as an associate. He will be based in the firm’s Chautauqua office. He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College, and his juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.

Patty L. Lukaszewicz has been promoted to administrative vice president at M&T Bank. She began her career with M&T in 1982 and has held numerous positions in banking services and central technology, including banking services operations manager and central technology project manager.

Charles E. Lorenz has been promoted to administrative vice president at M&T Bank. He received a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oswego. Lorenz has been with M&T for 10 years.

Kristen Hada, a resident of Cheektowaga, has been named principal at Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School, 170 Rosewood Terrace, Cheektowaga. Hada most recently served as assistant principal in the high school and elementary school of the Southwestern School District in Jamestown. She earned her master’s degree from Medaille College and her bachelor’s degree from Daemen College. She has a certificate of advanced study in school building and district leadership from SUNY Fredonia.

Sanderson Wealth Management LLC announced the promotion of John Gullo to chief investment officer. Prior to joining Sanderson in 2007, Gullo worked at M&T Bank and Union Bank of Switzerland as well as the Horizon Group Independent Financial Services Inc. He graduated from Canisius College with a master’s degree in business administration and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the SUNY Geneseo.

Michelle L. Kelly is an associate in the defense litigation department at Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will LLP. Kelly served for more than seven years as an assistant district attorney in both Niagara and Erie counties. She is also an attorney for the U.S. Air Force Air National Guard Judge Advocate General’s Corps. She began her assignment in the Air Force National Guard after serving for more than four years on active duty.

Thomas R. Kramer has been promoted to administrative vice president at M&T Bank. Kramer received a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo. He has been with M&T for 17 years.
