Rochester man arrested in car stolen from Buffalo woman

Antuan L. Yeomas, 26, of Rochester, was taken into custody at Bailey Avenue and Chauncey Street after he was pulled over about 1:15 a.m. Thursday while driving a luxury car a Buffalo woman reported stolen Monday.

Yeomas was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and false personation.

Yeomas initially told the officer his name was Johnny Yeomas and gave a false date of birth, police said.

The victim’s luxury car was reported to be in good condition and still contained its proper license plates.

Yeomas, who was listed on police reports as living on Bay Street in Rochester, was being held at the Erie County Holding Center.
