Two charged after ‘shots fired’ call in South Buffalo

Two men face numerous charges after police responded Monday night to a “shots fired” call in South Buffalo.

Police were called to a home on the first block of Kenefick Avenue just after 9 p.m. Officers arriving on scene heard “possible shots” fired from the address, Buffalo police said.

James Thompson, 24, and Bryan Slattery, 24, were found in a lower apartment along with a gun and shell casings.

Thompson and Slattery were charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal possession of a loaded weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a defaced weapon.
