What started as a traffic stop at Colvin Avenue and Tillinghast Place ended Saturday morning with the arrest of two men on gun charges.
Buffalo Police said the two men were arrested after their car was discovered traveling recklessly and without headlights near Delaware and Hertel avenues and was eventually stopped at about 3 a.m. Saturday.
When the driver, Angel M. Ortiz-Maldonado, 34, of Buffalo, was removed from the car, a 9mm pistol fell out of his pants, police said.
A second gun, a .380 caliber pistol, was later found under the passenger’s seat, where Angel M. Ortiz-Monge, was sitting, they said.
The two men are charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
