Jamestown man accused of selling cocaine to agents

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was arrested following a raid on a drug house at 614 Prendergast Ave. about 7:15 a.m. Friday, police said.

Efrain Mariera-Lebron, 36, who was charged with third-degree criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance, is accused of selling cocaine recently to drug task force agents. Officers found a large quantity of U.S. currency and scales used in the sale of narcotics, authorities said.

Mariera-Lebron was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and remanded without bail to Chautauqua County Jail, Mayville.

Conducting the raid were officers of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, Jamestown Metro Drug Task For, State Police and the Jamestown Police SWAT team.
