A North Tonawanda man has been arrested in connection with a pair of bank robberies on two consecutive days this week in the Town of Tonawanda, police reported.
Roger Urban, 27, is accused of robbing the Bank of America branch at 1188 Niagara Falls Blvd. on Tuesday and the Key Bank at 1930 Niagara Falls Blvd. on Wednesday, police said.
On Tuesday, a man covering his face entered the bank about 2 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding cash, police said. The note threatened that he had a gun but none was displayed, police said.
On Wednesday, a man entered the Key Bank about 3:30 p.m. and displayed a gun before fleeing with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The North Tonawanda Police Department assisted with the investigation. Urban was being held Thursday pending arraignment in Tonawanda Town Court.
