UB Speakers Series includes James Franco, John Cleese, Eric Holder

Here’s the lineup for the University at Buffalo’s Distinguished Speakers Series:

• Astronauts Mark Kelly and Scott Kelly, Sept. 22.

• Randi Zuckerberg, Oct. 26. Zuckerberg is founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media who ran marketing for Facebook from 2005 to 2011. Author of “Dot Complicated.”

• John Cleese, Dec. 9. Actor known for work in “Monty Python” films, and “A Fish Called Wanda.”

• Former U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., Feb. 16, 2017. Was the country’s first African-American attorney general and longest serving attorney general in United States history.

• Roxane Gay, April 5, 2017. Gay is a writer and cultural critic whose work includes “Bad Feminist.”

• James Franco, April 29, 2017. Actor whose work includes “127 Hours,” “Pineapple Express,” the “Spiderman” trilogy and “This is the End.”

Series subscriptions go on sale to the public Aug. 1, while individual lecture tickets go on sale Aug. 15.
