Former employee charged with burglarizing Falls barbershop

LOCKPORT – A former employee of a Niagara Falls barbershop has been indicted on charges of burglarizing it.

Pablo C. Morales, 35, of Haeberle Avenue in the Falls, pleaded not guilty to the charges Monday in Niagara County Court.

Assistant District Attorney Ryan K. Parisi said the store owner recognized Morales as a former employee when he examined a surveillance video of the Feb. 29 crime. Parisi said haircutting equipment was stolen, some of which was recovered.

The indictment accuses Morales of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
