Former Jamestown cop admits threatening other officers

A former Jamestown police officer has pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci to charges that he posted messages threatening other Jamestown-area law officers on the internet, U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul reports.

Michael A. Bush, 45, charged with transmitting communications containing threats to injure the person of another, faces a maximum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced Sept. 29. Prosecutors said Bush posted the threats on Topix.com on Jan. 2 and Feb. 26
