The Republican National Convention will be a decidedly Trump affair, sprinkled with appearances by members of the presumed GOP nominee’s family and nightly themes that play off of the candidate’s well-known campaign slogan.
And there’s a good chance that Donald Trump will appear more than once.
Melania Trump, who rarely appears publicly with her husband, is scheduled to headline Monday’s proceedings, titled “Make America Safe Again,” according to the details released by convention organizers.
The theme is scheduled to shift Tuesday to the economy. The most notable speakers on “Make America Work Again” night will be Donald Trump Jr. and Tiffany Trump, the candidate’s daughter from his second wife, Marla Maples.
“Make America First Again” on Wednesday is poised to include speeches from Eric Trump; Lynne Patton, a special assistant to the Trump children and a vice president of the Eric Trump Foundation; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who was passed over by Trump as his running mate; and the man he ultimately chose, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
On Thursday, “Make America One Again” will include speeches by two business leaders, PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel and Tom Barrack, a private equity manager and real estate investor who is close to Trump.
Trump is scheduled to speak Thursday.
