26th annual Taste of Olean setting up show at new venue

OLEAN – The 26th annual Taste of Olean from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday will set up in a new location. Formerly held on the Cattaraugus County Campus of Jamestown Community College, it will move to War Veterans Park, 551 E. State St.

Local restaurants and beverage distributors in 13 booths will serve small portions of dishes ranging from butter chicken and baklava to bison slider burgers and corn on the cob at prices between 50 cents to $3.50.

For the second year, the Jamestown Community College Alumni Association will host the Marketplace @ The Taste, featuring vendors with locally produced fruits and vegetables, plus packaged honey, jams, jellies, pies and cheeses.

Also taking place will be the 67th annual Art in the Park exhibition, showcasing artists from the Southern Tier and northwestern Pennsylvania.

Olean Theatre Workshop will host a Taste of Talent performance stage and there will be a children’s area with inflatables from the Olean Family YMCA. There will be free admission to the William O.
