HOLLEY – An adult received immediate emergency help Thursday morning from the American Red Cross after a vehicle hit an apartment building, according to the Red Cross.
Volunteers responded to the residence on State Street in Holley to help one displaced person. Other tenants were able to return to their apartments.
The Red Cross emergency assistance includes vouchers for temporary housing, food, clothing and Disaster Mental Health volunteers who can help with the emotional aspect of disaster. Those affected also meet with caseworkers to work on a longer-term recovery plan.
