Man wearing distinctive football garb accused of racial threats

Buffalo police are investigating threats made against white people, specifically white police officers, and investigators want to talk with a man known for often wearing a distinctive football jersey.

Ferry-Fillmore Station police reported Tuesday that the man frequently wears a Buffalo Bills red color-rush jersey, with the number 5 and bearing the last name of quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

Police reports indicate that the threats have been made at at the Erie County Rath Building downtown and at an office building on Broadway.
