Falls man in critical condition after Porter accident

PORTER – A Niagara Falls man was seriously injured when he crashed his pickup through two fences and into a tree early Wednesday morning in Porter, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

Robert D. Raczka, 60, of Chester Avenue, who apparently suffered a medical emergency, was listed in critical condition in Erie County Medical Center, where he was taken by Mercy Flight.

His vehicle went through a stop sign on Creek Road at Blairville Road and went off the side of Blairville shortly before 5 a.m. The truck went through a ditch and narrowly missed a building while going through the chain-link fences and striking the tree, the sheriff’s office said.
