Jazz series at Central Terminal debuts Wednesday

Jazz is coming to Buffalo’s Central Terminal.

Players from the Colored Musicians Club will open the terminal’s first jazz series at 6 p.m. Wednesday, the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. announces. Admission is $5. Parking is free. Refreshments will be available. Tickets are available online at bit.ly/TerminalJazz.

The series will continue with performances Aug. 17 and Sept. 14 in the former railroad terminal at 495 Paderewski Drive. The terminal’s concourse recently received $90,000 in cosmetic improvements during filming of the motion picture, “Marshall.”
