O’Hara to host holistic health show
One of Western New York’s leading holistic health practitioners will launch a weekly broadcast this Saturday on ESPN/WWKB-FM Radio 1520.
Jill O’Hara, a registered nurse who began a holistic health consulting service 15 years ago, will host Planting Seeds Radio from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturdays. The show will provide up-to-date holistic, natural and sustainable living information.
Guests each week will share their knowledge about tools, practices and products that support the mind, body and spirit.
“The goal is to provide the general public with information on complementary care that will support them along with traditional medicine, as well as provide them with tools to simply living a less hectic and stress-filled life,” O’Hara said.
O’Hara provides workshops on reiki, energy work, essential oils and other topics, along with her holistic health care consulting. She also owns Simply Klean, a natural, chemical-free professional cleaning service. For the past five years, she has organized the annual Holistic Health Expo at Marcy Casino in Delaware Park.
The Planting Seeds broadcast also will start airing on Time Warner Cable starting in July, she said.
