Thompson Street man arrested for burglarizing Hertel Avenue home

A 47-year-old Thompson street man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Hertel Avenue home a block from Niagara Street early Wednesday morning.

Adam Hubbard was arrested during the burglary about 1:20 A.M. After the occupant who called police said Hubbard “violently” pushed her after allegedly breaking an outside door to get in. Officers reported finding he had a crack pipe containing residue and a bag of suspicious white power. He was charged with a felony count of second-degree burglary, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.
