A section of Harlem Road will close on Wednesday and a section of the northbound Route 400 expressway will close Thursday and remain closed for several days as part of a bridge construction project in West Seneca.
Harlem between Indian Church Road and Seneca Street/Route 16 will close at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, the state Department of Transportation said.
The northbound lanes of Route 400 between Seneca Street/Route 16 and Interstate 90 will close at about 9 a.m. Thursday, the agency said.
Traffic to the mainline Thruway will be diverted to exit the 400 at Union Road. Drivers who wish to head east on the Thruway will be directed to use Union and William Street, while westbound Thruway traffic will be directed to use Union and Seneca Street to Ridge Road.
Both roadways are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Monday.
