Letter: Founders never imagined deadly weapons of today

Founders never imagined deadly weapons of today

The National Rifle Association keeps saying the government should follow the Second Amendment to the letter. The Founding Fathers wrote the amendment with what they knew at the time. They could not possibly have foreseen the effect of technology 200 years in the future. So I agree with the NRA, U.S. citizens should be allowed to have all the flintlock muskets they want!
