Fans in First Niagara Center will soon have internet access to meet their needs.
The Sabres are expected to announce a new in-arena Wi-Fi system Monday that will provide secure, reliable internet access throughout the building. The Sabres have teamed up with Extreme Network Inc. and Carousel Industries, the companies that bulked up internet access in Ralph Wilson Stadium in September.
The system will be operational when the Sabres host the NHL Draft on June 24.
Teams in major sports have begun upgrading in order to please fans who use their phones to track scores and stats or use social media while at the games.
