SILVER CREEK – A Cattaraugus County woman with a suspended driver’s license was driving drunk early Tuesday when she came to pick up another woman who’d been charged with driving while intoxicated.
Shawna M. Jamison, 28, of Versailles, parked in a handicapped parking space at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office when she came to pick up Nancy L. Scott, 47, of Gowanda, the sheriff’s office said.
Jamison was charged with DWI, driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and illegally parking in a handicapped space.
Scott had been pulled over on Buffalo Road in Irving for traffic violations, the sheriff’s office said.
Scott was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher, unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to keep right and unsafely moving from a lane.
Both Jamison and Scott were released to a sober third party.
