Kaleida Health named Cheryl Kass executive vice president and chief nursing executive. Kass joined Kaleida Health in 2004 as president of Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and vice president for Kaleida Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Niagara University and her MBA from Northwestern University. Also, the hospital appointed Chris Lane president of Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute. Lane has been president of Millard Fillmore Suburban and DeGraff Memorial hospitals. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and received his master’s degree from D’Youville College.
Independent Health promoted Patricia Clabeaux to executive vice president, chief human resources officer. Clabeaux joined the company in 2012 as senior vice president, human resources and organizational development. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University at Buffalo.
Vanner Insurance Agency named Jed Daughton partner. Daughton joined the firm as a producer in 2008 and was promoted to vice president of sales in 2014. He graduated from Canisius College with a bachelor’s degree.
M&T Bank promoted Sabra M. Baum to administrative vice president. Baum, with the bank for five years, holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Murdoch University in Australia and a master of law from the University of Toronto. Also, the bank promoted Kevin A. Berchou to administrative vice president. Berchou, with M&T for 13 years, received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Rochester.

McIntyre, who joined the company in 2004 and most recently served as the corporate training manager, is a Medaille College graduate. Also, the company named Michael Stratton regional vice president of operations. With the company since 2001, he is a University at Buffalo graduate.
Allpro Parking named Patricia M. Flaherty human resources manager. Flaherty holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
The United Way of Buffalo and Erie County named Michael Schraft American Apprenticeship program director, and Luke Baker video journalist. Schraft is a graduate of the University at Buffalo. Baker is a graduate of Le Moyne College.
Brisbane Consulting Group named Robert P. Hasselbeck an implementation specialist. Hasselbeck earned a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College.
Calamar appointed Scott Stoddard as regional project manager for the construction division. Stoddard, with more than 20 years experience, graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Valu Home Centers promoted Colleen Gruver and Joe Spare to district managers. Gruver, who has been with the company for 12 years, and Spare, who has been with the company for four years, have both been members of the Store Management Team. They were most recently store managers.
