Man charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing grandfather

A West Seneca man was charged with attempted murder Saturday after police said he stabbed his grandfather in the back with a kitchen knife.

Ryan Domkowski, 26, was involved in an argument with his grandfather inside a Center Road residence when the stabbing occurred, police in West Seneca said. The victim’s condition was unavailable.

The stabbing occurred about 1 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Domkowski also was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree assault.
