NIAGARA FALLS – State Police on Thursday charged a Niagara Falls man with impaired driving and marijuana possession after a traffic stop on Whitney Avenue.
Thomas D’Arcangelo, 21, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs following the stop, which happened at about 7 a.m. He showed signs of impairment and was later examined by a drug recognition expert at the Niagara barracks where it was determined he was impaired, State Police said.
D’Arcangelo was also found in possession of about an ounce of marijuana, for which he was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
He has an upcoming date in Niagara Falls City Court.
