Ronald B. Goss, of Lockport, formerly of Niagara Falls, a retired Buffalo News employee, died Monday in Buffalo General Medical Center after a long illness. He was 75.

Born in Niagara Falls, the son of a printer, he worked for The News for 34 years in advertising, composition and retail sales, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the International Typographical Union.

An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Mr. Goss was a member of the LaSalle Sportsmen’s Club, the Niagara County Sportsmen’s Association and Iroquois Arms. He also was a member of Community Bible Church in Cambria.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, music festivals and outdoor concerts.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, the former Grace Henninger; two daughters, Cheryl Carr and Kristen Rodgers; a brother, David; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Community Bible Church, 4168 Church Road, Cambria.
