MLB Rehab: Right handed pitcher Bo Schultz joined the the Bisons on an MLB injury rehabilitation assignment on Friday when he threw an inning of shutout relief.
Tigers Prospects: Shortstop Dixon Machado was ranked the No. 8 prospect in the Detroit Tigers organization by Baseball America while outfielder Wynton Bernard (a Niagara graduate) was No. 24. Pitchers Buck Farmer (No. 12) and Jeff Ferrell (No. 21) were also on the Baseball America list.
Former Bisons: Toledo's roster features seven former Bisons -- RHP Matt Boyd, RHP Preston Guilmet, LHP Daniel Norris, RHP Bobby Parnell, C Humberto Quintero, INF Jordany Valdespin and RHP Thad Weber). Outfielder Anthony Gose was optioned to the Mud Hens on Sunday and has 72 hours to report.
