Falls man repays $1,000 in theft case

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man was granted a conditional discharge Monday by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon after he repaid $1,000 he stole from a friend.

Omoro T. Colvin, 38, of 10th Street, originally was accused of robbing the man at gunpoint while giving him a ride in his car Oct. 17, 2013. Eventually, he was allowed to plead guilty to petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
