Troopers: Niagara Falls woman had 41 packets of heroin

NIAGARA FALLS – State Police on Friday reported finding 41 packets of heroin on a Niagara Falls woman last month during a traffic stop.

Laura E. Walker, 30, was charged with criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, a class B felony, state polcie said. She was charged after an April 23 traffic stop on Royal Avenue.

Police, who also found marijuana, also charged Walker with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. She was also ticketed for making an unsafe turn.

She was remanded to the Niagara Falls City Jail pending arraignment.
