Rochester man faces crack cocaine accusation in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – A Rochester man was charged with drug possession in Jamestown Thursday, police reported, when they said they stopped him on Charles Street and he had on him crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force was on its way to execute a search warrant at 30 Charles St., when Timothy R. Wilson, 28, was seen trying to leave the area in a vehicle at about 3:30 p.m.

Wilson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Anyone with information on the sales and trafficking of illegal drugs in the Jamestown area is asked to call the task force at 483-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
