Buffalo man charged with producing child pornography

A Buffalo man faces eight federal charges of producing and possessing child pornography.

Daniel G. Sasiadek, 61, had been arrested in July 2015 after investigators executing a search warrant at his Wheelock Street home seized numerous computer devices that then were analyzed by authorities.

Sasiadek has been in custody since the raid and was arraigned Friday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Hugh B. Scott. He continues to be held.

The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum of 30 years and a $250,000 fine.
