About 1,300 National Grid customers in the Elmwood Village area who were without power on Tuesday morning have gotten their electricity back.
The outage area included the area bounded by Richmond, Delaware, Forest and Lafayette avenues, according to the utility’s website. Three other outage areas, accounting for about 500 customers, were located between Richmond Avenue and Grant Street.
The outages occurred about 10 a.m. and service was expected to be restored by about 1:30 p.m., according to the utility.
Lafayette High School and International School 45 both lost power for a time, but were restored by around 11 a.m., a Buffalo Public Schools spokeswoman said in an email.
