A wrong-way driver had a blood-alcohol level nearly double the legal limit early Sunday in Orchard Park.
A driver seen going the wrong way on a one-way side street was pulled over just after 4:30 a.m. on Southwestern Boulevard, Orchard Park Police said.
Kevin G. Hale, 30, of Orchard Park, registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent, nearly double the legal limit of .08 percent.
Hale was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation for driving with a suspended license. He also was ticketed for various traffic offenses, police said.
