I am a paramedic for Rural / Metro Ambulance full time and I am an assistant professor at ECC South campus part time. I am a volunteer fireman for Rescue Hose Co. #1. I have been involved within the community for 20 years.

I have two children, Edward and Abigale who have gone through the school system and both had graduated from Cheektowaga Central High School. I am a volunteer fireman for Rescue Hose Co #1 in which currently I am the President of the company.
Please describe the top issues facing your school district and how you would address them as a school board member:
The most important issues I feel are needed to be addressed are that our test scores desperately need improvement and the implementation of technology in the classroom. The two can go hand in hand. By giving students immersive experiences and using the most up to date technology, I feel test scores can improve.
Do you think public education in New York is headed in the right direction? No
Please explain why, in 100 words or less:
Currently public education in new York is not moving in right direction. State education funding cannot be subject to shifting political winds in Albany. Our schools need to know how much funding they are going to receive to properly plan a budget that delivers the services our children deserve.
