NIAGARA FALLS – A new location for the Italian Vice Consulate in the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center on Pine Street will serve Italian citizens.
Honorary Italian Vice Consulate Lucia Caracci Ederer and assistant Elisa Ridolfi Wareham are available for translation services and legal referrals as well as to answer inquiries regarding visa regulations and passport requirements. There are 37 Italian consulates in the United States. The local consulate office was formerly at 430 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo.
New hours are from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Office hours by appointment will be offered in the Romulus Club in the North Buffalo Community Center, 230 Sanders Road. To mark the opening of the office in Niagara Falls, a book signing and reception featuring Chris Kelly, author of “Italy Invades: How Italians Conquered the World” will take place at 6:30 p.m. June 20 at the consulate office.
