Detroit's Jeremy Porter & The Tucos to make Buffalo debut at Mohawk Place

Motor City rockers Jeremy Porter & The Tucos are set to roll into town at 7 p.m. May 5 in Mohawk Place (47 E. Mohawk St).

The Rust Belters by way of Michigan will be making their first Buffalo appearance in support of the group's 2015 record, "Above the Sweet Tea Line." The 11-track alt-country record, best served with a shot of whiskey or two, should appeal to fans of the Jayhawks, Son Volt and Old 97's.

Joining Porter and crew for their area debut will be Buffalo's rockabilly three-piece Blue Rocket Trio and the horn collective of the Buffalo Brass Machine.

Admission is free with a ticket to Deep South Taco's Cinco De Mayo Street Fiesta, otherwise cover is $5 at the door. Further event details can be found here.
