ANGELICA – A Cuba woman was held on $10,000 bail for striking a state police officer when she was taken into custody on Sunday.
Khristina A. Dix, 35, was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation on State Route 19 at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Dix had reportedly become disorderly and struck an officer when she was taken into custody. She was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration.
She was arraigned in the Town of Friendship Court and remanded to Allegany County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Town of Angelica Court on Thursday.
