Teen charged after found in school with drugs

RANDOLPH – An unnamed student was charged by State Police after being found in possession of amphetamines on Monday at Randolph Academy.

Staff at the school discovered the 17-year-old student was in possession of five capsules that contained a total of 2.1 grams of amphetamine.

State police arrested the student who was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The student was processed at the State Police station in Jamestown, then arraigned in the Town of Conewango Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
