Letter: Primary care workers at risk of infection, too

Primary care workers at risk of infection, too

A recent letter writer suggests that people visit their primary care doctor when sick, stay home and get well before seeing an eye doctor because they might infect the eye doctor’s staff. What about the staff at the primary care doctor? Won’t they also be infected and not be able to do their jobs when sick? Seeing that the writer states that she has worked in the health field for the last 40 years, it is probably too late for her to lose the elitist attitude.
