BRADLEY, Bruce Vernon Lt. Col. Ret.

BRADLEY - Bruce Vernon Lt. Col. Ret. Passed on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Alexandria, VA. He was born in Holyoke, MA on April 18, 1934, to Vernon E. and Eveline F. Bradley. He was a graduate of Classical High School and Amherst College (1956) and later earned an MBA from Auburn University, TX.
After graduating from Amherst, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he rose to Lieutenant Colonel and served as a C-130 navigator in Viet Nam, while stationed in Taiwan. He was also stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany; Abilene, TX; Anchorage, AK; and Kaneohe, HI, where he ended his career. Bruce relocated to New York City, attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts and subsequently performed in many off-Broadway productions including a national tour in Roger Miller's Big River. The memorial service and lunch will be held Friday, May 27, at 2 PM, at Cugino's Restaurant, 6011 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dr. Joan Bradley; his daughter, Hunter McAlpine; brothers Keith, Craig, Joel and their families; cousins Ann Szabos, Tricia Fielden Knowles, Patricia Kremer; nephews Jeffery Hoye and his wife Carrie; Doug Hoye; nieces Linda-Rae Simmons; Kim Schulman; step sons Ajamu and Sefu Bernard and their families.
