The Slums to release debut full-length at Leopard Lounge

Buffalo post-hardcore four-piece the Slums is set to debut its new album at 8 p.m. April 29 in the Leopard Lounge (681 Main St.).

Comprised of former members of Buffalo bands of yesteryear like the Malones, the Boy and His Machine, Strangers, Scales and Arctic Death, the quartet has been busy with go-to producer Paul Besch at his Alden-based Quiet Country Audio studio working on material for its first full-length record, "Sorry." The band  teased the new album by sharing its first single, the tense and raucous "Gospel Part II," followed by the recently released subdued track "Blue Suits."

Helping the Slums break in that still new car smell of the Leopard Lounge, located inside Town Ballroom, will be '90s throwback fuzz rockers Cooler and Queen City MC Dr. Ooo. Tickets are $10 (box office, Ticketfly). Further event details can be found here.
